Kristi Egland, PhD serves as Chief Science Officer, bringing over 25 years of immunotherapy experience to Poly Solutions. She previously served as Principal Investigator of Sanford Research's Cancer Biology and Immunotherapies Group and as Executive Director of Drug Discovery and Genetic Innovation at SAB Biotherapeutics, both located in Sioux Falls, SD. Her basic science and translational research have contributed to the development of multiple preclinical and clinical stage diagnostic markers and therapeutics. She holds two granted patents recognizing her innovative contributions to the field. Dr. Egland received her undergraduate degree from Washington University in St. Louis, her PhD in Molecular Biology from the University of Iowa, and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the National Cancer Institute, NIH, in Bethesda, MD.
